The Urban Writers is not a publisher and does not upload your book to Amazon KDP or any store. You receive your written and edited manuscript, cover and publishing files, then publish under your own account. You own everything delivered and keep all rights.
Which bundle should I choose for fiction or non-fiction?
Silver covers writing, editing, a cover and paperback formatting, while Gold adds a professional book description. Platinum adds a researched non-fiction outline to Gold. Ultimate Fiction is the fiction alternative to Platinum, with a plot outline created with a fiction writer and developmental editor, plus a short back-cover novel blurb.
Can I add line editing to my bundle?
You can add line editing to any bundle for sentence-level clarity and flow, with a copy edit and proofread. Every bundle already includes Essential Editing, which covers a copy edit and proofread by a separate human editor.
Can I choose who writes my book?
You choose your writer and writer level after reviewing profiles, samples, customer ratings and completed orders. You can chat before choosing, invite a freelancer or review requests from freelancers interested in your project. There are five writer levels, priced from $4.13 to $6.60 per 100 words, with 1 to 4 revision rounds depending on the level.
