Common questions
How does The Urban Writers platform work?
Post a project, review freelancers and choose who you want to work with. Follow the work in a live document, leave comments and chat on the order. When the work is ready, review it and approve it or request revisions.
Does it cost anything to post a project?
Posting a project is free. You can pay upfront or wait until a freelancer is attached, and the price is shown before you pay.
Does feedback during the work count as a revision?
Feedback while the work is in progress does not count as a revision. Leave comments in the live document as you follow along, then use the approval window to review the completed work and request any revisions.
Can every customer use video calls and freelancer teams?
Direct messages, video calls, teams of go-to freelancers and order invitations are available on some accounts. Every order includes chat with the freelancer.
Who owns the finished work?
You own everything delivered and keep all copyrights. Every freelancer signs away their rights to the work.
