The Authority Book Program
Six specialists build your book. One Project Manager is accountable for every step.
Turn the expertise behind your practice into a credible, publication-ready book without becoming the project manager yourself.
- Choose the specialists behind it.
- Read fresh writing on your subject.
- Approve the chapter-by-chapter outline before the 70% balance is due.
- One experienced Project Manager carries the work from research through final files.
Your name goes on the cover. You should be able to inspect the people, the plan and the work behind it.
Applying lets you review fit, terms and the next available start date. It does not reserve a place or commit you to the program.

02Why the program exists
A stronger quality promise does not protect your name.
When a book flattens your ideas or misses your voice, the provider’s name is not on the cover. Yours is.
Years of producing books at scale taught TUW that profiles, portfolios and promises could not solve that risk. A profile shows a writer’s history. A portfolio shows what they produced for someone else. Neither shows how they will understand your argument or how the company will act after it has your money.
That led to one conclusion: proof had to move earlier.
After the deposit, you inspect real candidates and read fresh sample writing on your own subject. You approve the chapter-by-chapter outline before the 70% balance is due. Once production begins, you can follow the manuscript as it is written, comment directly and speak with the specialists working on it.
The Authority Book Program is built around one belief: the people and process behind your book should be verified before most of the money changes hands.

We call this the Open Floor.
03Judge the writer, not the profile
A profile shows experience. Fresh writing on your topic shows fit.
You receive five candidates for each specialist seat, with profiles, ratings and completed-project counts. You may interview anyone you are considering.
For the writer seat, each shortlisted candidate produces fresh sample writing on your subject after the deposit and before you select the writer, approve the outline or owe the balance.
You do not have to assume that a polished portfolio will translate to your argument and voice. You get work on your own subject to judge.
Candidate cards on the platform: ratings, portfolio samples and completed-project counts for each specialist; shortlisted writers produce fresh sample writing on your subject.
I have tried a number of freelancer platforms looking for quality writers for my personal empowerment content. Unfortunately, problems always arise whether with quality (original content) or depth of writing. I always have to spend more money to fix the issues. I am so excited about TUW. I feel like we finally have home.
I wanted to personally write to you and thank you for your OUTSTANDING writing skills for Magnetic Goals. I’m lost for words on what to say! You are an amazing writer and you were able to create a book that is absolutely sensational! ... I would like to request you as my writer for my next book.
04One owner, five human passes
Six specialists need one person accountable for the whole book.
Your specialist team includes:
Your Project Manager builds the shortlists, turns your requirements into one approved Book Brief, keeps every specialist working from the same plan and prepares the decisions that need your judgment.
The chapter-by-chapter outline becomes the scope contract. The manuscript then moves through writing, editing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and proofreading.
You inspect. The Project Manager carries.
You can inspect the work, comment directly and speak with the people working on it.
You do not have to manage six handoffs or become the final quality-control layer.
The manuscript inside the platform: you read the chapters as they are written, see every suggested change and get notified when something needs your decision.
05Money, decisions and responsibilities
Stay close where your judgment matters. Let the Project Manager carry the rest.
Choose how involved you want to be. You can interview candidates, speak with specialists and review the manuscript in detail. You can also share your expertise, approve the major decisions and let the Project Manager carry the production work.
Either way, the team needs your knowledge at the beginning and your explicit approval at the major milestones. The Project Manager prepares those decisions, manages the handoffs and keeps all six specialists accountable.
Approximately 120 days is an estimate. Team selection, outline approval, manuscript review and added scope affect the schedule. Delays TUW owns are covered by the published program remedies.

- Interview the candidates you are considering
- Speak directly with any specialist
- Comment inside the manuscript as it is written
Available when you want them, not required participation.
Your expertise at the beginning. Your approval at the major milestones.
- Share your expertise
- Approve the outline
- Approve the finished book and publishing path
Your Project Manager prepares each decision and keeps all six specialists accountable.
I have also appreciated the one-stop-shopping experience I have with the publishing bundles that include everything I need to complete a book.
As a busy professional trying to build a book business, having this kind of help available is invaluable.

Five connected parts produce the book. Six included bonuses close the gaps around research, revision, publication and the final listing.

PART 02
Your Accountable Manager
One experienced Project Manager shortlists the team, gathers the requirements, controls the handoffs, holds every specialist to the approved brief and prepares your decisions.
PART 03
The Outline Contract
Research and a booked working session turn your knowledge into a chapter-by-chapter scope. Everything downstream is judged against the outline you approve.
PART 04
Five Human Passes and the Open Floor
Writing, editing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and proofreading, with live manuscript access, direct comments, specialist conversations and four revision rounds inside the approved outline.
PART 05
The Finished Book
A professional cover, interior formatting, print-ready files and eBook files. After the program is paid in full and the final deliverables are provided, you own the final manuscript, cover and finished book files, subject to any third-party material identified in writing.
07The complete offer
Six Bonuses Included at No Additional Cost
Know the Shelf Before You Write
A pre-outline report on competing books and reader feedback in your niche, so the direction is settled while changing it is still inexpensive.
Provably Original
An originality report on the finished manuscript. It checks originality and plagiarism status. It is not an AI detector.
From Files to Published
Choose one of two paths. TUW uploads and configures the book when you voluntarily provide authorized access to your existing KDP account, or TUW gives you the files, metadata, categories, keywords and step-by-step instructions to publish it yourself. You are never required to share login credentials.
The Page That Sells the Book
A professional Amazon book description, formatted and ready for the listing.
Read What Changed, Not the Whole Book Again
A written change map after every revision round showing what changed, where and why.
Copies in Your Hands
Once the book is live, the team walks you through ordering print copies at cost through your own account. TUW does not order or ship the copies.
Audiobook narration may be available after final-manuscript approval at the live catalog rate. It is optional, it is not offered at the sales call or outline review, and any pre-sale rate is approximate until the final manuscript is ready to quote.
One complete program. One price, shown before you apply.
$12,985 USD before tax
The price includes the six-specialist team, one accountable Project Manager, up to 40,000 words, five human passes, four revision rounds inside the approved outline, the finished book files, publication assistance and all six bonuses.
Applicable taxes are added to each invoice. If the approved outline shows the book needs more room, the extension is $2,000 USD before tax per additional 10,000 words when approved in advance.
08Guarantee
Your commitment grows only after you have something real to judge.
Pay 30% to start.
The $3,895.50 deposit starts the research and team-selection work.
Choose your team.
Five candidates are presented for each role; interview anyone you want and read fresh writing from the writers you shortlist.
Build the outline.
Research and a booked working session turn your knowledge into a chapter-by-chapter scope. Your deposit is protected by the Outline Fit Guarantee while you judge the initial outline and one correction round.
Approve the outline.
Explicit written or TUW-platform approval closes the Outline Fit Guarantee. The $9,089.50 pre-tax balance is due within seven calendar days after that approval is recorded.
Watch the work.
You can follow the manuscript inside the Open Floor, comment directly and speak with the specialists working on it, as much or as little as you want.
Review against the agreement.
Four revision rounds cover changes inside the approved outline. If the manuscript misses something the outline requires, TUW fixes it without using one of those rounds.
Use the written remedies if TUW fails.
The program terms define what happens if TUW goes silent, leaves a specialist seat vacant or refuses work inside the approved outline. You see the schedule before you sign.
TUW is accountable for producing the book and providing the publication support stated in the agreement. Sales, leads, rankings, media coverage and other business results are not promised.
Ten projects enter each start window.
Each start window is limited to 10 new Authority Book projects so the Project Managers and specialist teams can carry the work properly.
A place is held only after your proposal is accepted and the deposit is paid. Once those 10 places are assigned, the next available start date moves back.
Apply now to review fit, terms and the next available start date.
09Fit
This is for experts with an established practice, not people hoping a book will create one.
It may be a fit if:
- Your business already runs on expertise and trust
- You have a defined subject with enough substance for a book
- A typical client is worth $10,000 or more, or your business is around $300,000 or more in annual revenue
- You can make the decision alone or with one partner
- You can commit to the 30/70 payment structure
- You want a team to produce the book under your direction
It is not a fit if:
- You are expecting the book to create the business for you
- You need a fixed publication date inside 120 days
- You need a payment plan beyond the 30/70 structure
- You want a promise about sales, rankings, leads or media
- You want to write the manuscript yourself
- You are commissioning indie fiction under a pen name
- You are building a catalog of books as the product rather than one authority book for an established practice
If you want to write the book yourself, Dibbly Create may be the better path. If your budget is below $10,000, TUW’s standard nonfiction services may be the better fit.
10Proof
Why TUW is qualified to carry the whole book.
TUW has produced books since 2018. As of July 2026, TUW’s records show:
That record matters because this program is not a referral to one writer. It requires a specialist network, experienced project management and a production process that can carry one book through research, writing, editing, design and final proof.
TUW recruits specialists worldwide and coordinates the six roles as one managed project. One Project Manager keeps the team working from the same approved Book Brief and chapter-by-chapter outline.
Those qualifications are not a request for blind trust. You can inspect the candidates, read fresh writing on your subject, approve the outline before the balance is due, follow the manuscript as it is written and review the published terms and remedies before you apply.
My writer, editor, and cover designer at The Urban Writers are excellent. ... I know they are real professionals doing their own work.
Sandra AbbeyTrustpilot review · June 16, 2026The books I have ordered from them have all been of fantastic quality, and go through rigorous quality controls before they are turned over to me. The writing, outlining, cover-designing have been of the highest standards.
11FAQ
Questions customers ask before applying
You do not have to accept that on trust. The writers you shortlist produce fresh sample writing on your subject. You can interview them, speak with the writer directly and comment inside the manuscript while it is being written. The approved outline gives everyone a shared standard for the ideas and structure.
The deposit starts the Book Brief, research, candidate review, fresh writer samples, team selection and chapter-by-chapter outline. The balance becomes due only after you explicitly approve the outline. Silence, receiving the outline or attending a review call does not count as approval.
The program terms define three failures: TUW owes work or a response and delivers neither for 30 consecutive days, a vacant specialist seat is not filled within 14 days, or TUW refuses revision work inside the approved outline.
You choose whether the project continues with a replaced team or ends with your materials and the pro-rata refund defined in the published schedule. Customer review time does not trigger a TUW failure clock.
There is no fixed time requirement. Your Project Manager carries the day-to-day work, coordinates the specialist team and prepares the decisions that require your approval. You can stay close to the process by interviewing candidates, speaking with specialists and reviewing the manuscript in detail, or stay relatively hands-off after sharing your expertise and approving the major milestones.
Tell your Project Manager. Replacement is the standing first remedy. The work and materials already produced remain with the project.
AI may support research. AI-generated writing does not enter your manuscript unless you explicitly permit that use in writing. The permission is recorded against the project. The manuscript still moves through the program’s human review passes.
Yes. After the program is paid in full and the final deliverables are provided, you own the final manuscript, cover and finished book files, subject to any third-party material identified in writing. Publication support can happen through authorized access you choose to provide to your existing KDP account or through the files-and-instructions path.
No. Approximately 120 days is an estimate. Your decisions and review speed affect the schedule, and TUW’s written remedies cover defined failures on its side. There is no rush option.
After your application is received, you can choose a time with our sales team. The team reviews your application separately and records whether the program is a fit. The call covers your book, business, timing, the program terms and your questions. A proposal and agreement come before any invoice.
Yes. Full-length business books commonly begin around 40,000 words, and published premium services target books around 150 pages. The program covers up to 40,000 words. If the approved outline shows your book needs more room, you see the exact word count, added price and revised date before you decide.
Yes, when the ideas and judgment are yours and the working relationship is honest. Business leaders and public figures have long used professional writing support. In this program, you define the argument, choose the team, approve the outline, review the manuscript and approve the finished book. The writing process does not replace your expertise.
No. It checks originality and plagiarism status. It is not an AI detector.
No. Bookstore placement, bestseller campaigns and ranking promises are not included. TUW controls the production of the book, not the commercial result after it is published. If bookstore placement or a bestseller campaign is a requirement, this program is the wrong fit.
